A RCB fan, who runs a hair salon named "Virat" in Belagavi, offered free haircuts on Wednesday to celebrate the victory of the IPL team.

Kiran Halejol’s salon is in Diggewadi in Raibag taluk, Belagavi district. He says on average, he gets 20 customers every day. The number goes up to nearly 30 on Sundays and holidays.

"I have been waiting for 18 years for this moment. And finally last night, my favourite player Virat Kohli raised the cup," Kiran said, adding that he named his salon after Virat.

Fan dies of cardiac arrest

A 25-year-old man died due to cardiac arrest while dancing to celebrate RCB’s IPL victory early on Wednesday. The deceased was Manjunath Kumbar from Avaradi village in Mudalagi taluk, Belagavi district.
