Investors in the State have voiced concerns over increasing land use conflicts for industrial development, according to DPIIT Secretary Amardeep Singh Bhatia. Speaking at the 'Viksit Bharat-2047' Investors' Roundtable, Amardeep said the State government was actively working to address these issues and would take necessary steps to improve conditions.

Bhatia highlighted the need for better infrastructure and streamlined approval processes, including improvements to the single-window clearance system. He cited the National Industrial Corridor Development Programme (NICDP), which features 20 sector-specific industrial parks, as a model for southern states.

State’s Principal Secretary of Commerce & Industries, S Selvakumar, announced the expansion of the single-window system to cover 105 of 153 services and said the State would replicate its Electronic City Township Model to boost regional growth. He also revealed that tax collections in Special Investment Regions would be managed by KIADB, with 70 per cent reinvested in infrastructure.

The conference, attended by industry leaders and officials from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, and other regions, focused on strategies for industrial expansion.
