In a significant security move, notorious rowdies housed in cells surrounding Kannada actor Darshan’s barrack at Parappana Agrahara Central Prison in the City have been transferred to other facilities. This decision comes as a precautionary measure following recent controversies involving the actor.
Darshan, who faces accusations in the Renukaswamy murder case, is currently confined in Parappana Agrahara. Security around his cell has been intensified, with nearby inmates possessing criminal backgrounds being relocated to prevent any potential incidents. Authorities are maintaining a vigilant watch over the adjoining cells.
The move follows the emergence of photographs showing Darshan engaged in conversation with rowdy Wilson Garden Naga within the prison, which went viral. These pictures depicted Darshan and the gangster smoking and sharing coffee. In light of the Supreme Court's stern warning regarding the situation, prison officials have acted promptly to ensure heightened security and inmate relocation around Darshan.
