Bengaluru, 19 September
Bengaluru Development Minister Krishna Byre Gowda announced on Saturday that the Nambike Nakshe 2.0 portal is now live, making it easier for people to get building plan approvals.
The programme creates a fully automated building plan approval system for residential sites up to 50×80 ft, with up to 4 dwelling units.
This will “reduce routine human intervention and make approvals faster and hassle-free”, Gowda stated.
The building plan can be submitted online by a qualified architect. If the submitted plan complies with the City planning rules, a system is in place whereby the building plan approval will be automatically obtained within about 30 minutes, Gowda said.
He said that this will cut out the role of middlemen and make life easier for citizens.
