New Delhi, 2 June

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has postponed the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET-PG 2025) examination, originally scheduled for 15 June, following a directive from the Supreme Court. The court, while hearing a petition last week, instructed the authorities to conduct the exam in a single shift instead of two, stressing the importance of transparency and secure exam centres. In compliance, NBEMS announced that the exam will now be held in a single shift, requiring significant logistical changes, including an increase in test centres and infrastructure upgrades to accommodate all candidates at once.
