The 814th Annual Urs
Mubarak of Hazrat Khawaja Moinuddin Chishty concluded on Monday, in the presence of over one million seekers who
had gathered at the holy site transcending boundaries of faith, language,
nationality, and culture.
Haji Syed Salman Chishty, Chairman of the Chishty Foundation
said that the message of Khawaja Gharib Nawaz continues to serve as a universal
ethic for a world yearning for healing, reaffirming that true spirituality
unites rather than divides.
"The year 2025 has exposed humanity’s fragility through
terror, violence, polarisation and threats to social harmony, from attacks in
Australia and Pahalgam to concerns for minorities in Bangladesh. Every innocent
life lost is a sacred trust violated," he added.
As humanity approaches 2026, this Urs calls for hope rooted
in justice, dialogue over division, education against extremism and service
above selfishness, renewing the collective pursuit of peace and compassion,
Salman Chishty said.
