AICC President and Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha, Dr. Mallikarjun Kharge, has demanded that Women's Reservation Bill be implemented immediately without linking it to delimitation of constituencies.
He said the Congress will extend full support to the Bill. Speaking to reporters at his residence in Kalaburagi on Wednesday, Kharge said, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Minister Kiren Rijiju should sit together and discuss this.
If Rijiju has full authority, let him implement the Women's Reservation Bill tomorrow itself. Congress will support it. Why should it be implemented only after delimitation?"
