ED raids Congress Bellary MP, 3 MLAs in Karnataka Valmiki case

On 11 June, the ED raided Congress' Bellary MP E Tukaram and three Karnataka MLAs over the alleged Valmiki scam. Crores from the Valmiki ST fund were reportedly laundered via fake accounts and shell firms, allegedly used during the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.

Manipur protests: Meitei member held for firing at security, 19 detained

On 10 June, Manipur Police arrested Arambai Tenggol member Raj Boinao Pangeijam for firing at security personnel during protests over the detention of the group’s leader Kanan Singh. Nineteen others were also detained for violence in Imphal.
