Karnataka BJP President BY Vijayendra on
Friday said the political developments in the State are expected to reach a
logical conclusion after the Bihar Assembly polls, echoing Congress MLA KN
Rajanna’s earlier assertion.
Vijayendra said recent developments
indicate that "all is not well" within the Congress.
Speculations are rife about the change of
guard and Cabinet reshuffle when the Congress government reaches the halfway
mark of its five-year term in November, referred to by some as "November
revolution".
"The reactions of Ministers and
legislators of the ruling party, makes it clear that all is not well in the
Congress party. After the Bihar polls, a lot of political developments that
have already begun in the State, will meet its logical end. Those in the ruling
party are themselves talking about it," Vijayendra said.
Asked if there are indications of political
developments gaining momentum in November, he said, "ruling party members
themselves are dropping hints. We have been saying it for six months. Whether
there is a peril for the Chief Minister's chair, or will it be good luck for
someone else, let's wait and watch."
