State Legislative Assembly Speaker UT Khadar on Saturday denied the speculations of “November Revolution”.
Similarly, State Social Welfare Minister HC Mahadevappa dismissed the speculations of a change of CM in the State, calling it an “illusion”.
Responding to a query on a cabinet meeting on Thursday, where there was an alleged spat between him and energy minister KJ George over the diversion of SCSP/TSP grants to fund the guarantees schemes, Mahadevappa said that such heated arguments are common during such meetings. It was sorted out now, he said.
Mahadevappa said he had requested the State Kannada and Culture department for inclusion of Boudarayudyana in the Karnataka anthem following the demand from Buddhist groups. The department promised to verify and look into this demand.
Meanwhile, Khader also announced that the special assembly session would start on 8 December.
