Belagavi man dies by suicide, names cops
The man also alleged that he was subjected to threats & intimidation, which caused severe mental distress.

Belagavi, 2 June
A man from Belagavi allegedly committed suicide after naming police officials and two private individuals in a note, in Gokak taluk. Ravindra Danavvagol, from Bendigeri village, took his own life on Tuesday.
Reports state Ravindra had
lent Rs 8 lakh to two men, Laxman Chandargi and Bharamappa Poojari. When he
sought repayment, they refused and threatened him. In his suicide note,
Ravindra claimed he approached local police for action.
The note stated, “I had approached local police seeking action against the two men. I submitted complaints to PSI Anand and a former DySP, Mulla, but no action was taken.”
The man also alleged that he was subjected to threats and intimidation,
which caused severe mental distress.
Unable to cope, Ravindra ended his life. A case has been registered at Mudalagi Police Station, and investigations are ongoing.
Police have not yet commented on the
claims in the note; the veracity of which will be established.
