14 institutions shortlisted for KWIN city: MB Patil
Toyota Kirloskar Motor, St John’s University, Dayanand Sagar University, KLE University, PES University and RV College are among the institutions shortlisted.

Large and Medium Scale Industries Minister MB Patil informed the Assembly that the government has issued preliminary notifications to acquire 4,873-29.04 acres of land for the proposed KWIN City project in and around Doddaballapur and Dabaspet regions.
He said that the government has signed agreements with 14 institutions for the KWIN City (Knowledge, Wellbeing and Innovation City) project. These include Toyota Kirloskar Motor, St John’s University, Dayanand Sagar University, KLE University, PES University and RV College, among others.
The project, which aims to build the “next-generation urban ecosystem,” will be undertaken in five phases, Patil added. For the first phase, the KIADB has decided to acquire 2,000 acres in Nelamangala taluk. Patil has previously said that phase one of KWIN city will launch in December.
