Bengaluru, 1 October

The State government launched the pilot ‘Anna Seve’ e-KYC mobile app on Thursday. This comes as the Congress has been asking people to complete the e-KYC process as it seeks to verify ration cards.

The app is aimed at making the e-KYC process simpler, faster and more convenient for beneficiaries, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Rizwan Arshad stated on X.

Rizwan hoped that the app would make public distribution services more accessible, seamless and citizen-centric.

The app reportedly streamlines beneficiary verification and reduces the workload on fair-price shops.
