Digital travel platform Agoda has released its list of the most affordable destinations to visit in spring in April and May 2025. The ranking is based on average room rates at the location. Quiet beaches to bustling cities, these destinations offer budget-conscious travellers a chance to explore without breaking the bank.

In India, Tirupati is the cheapest destination this spring. “April and May are the most important months for travel in Asia, with holidays such as Golden Week in Japan and Songkran in Thailand driving demand,” said Matteo Frigerio, Agoda’s chief marketing officer.

With an average room rate of Rs 2,952, the city is a great choice for those looking for a cultural and natural vacation in April and May. Famous for the Venkateswara Temple, which is one of the most frequently visited pilgrimage sites around the world, Tirupati offers visitors an intense cultural and spiritual experience, making it an ideal place for a spring trip.

Topping the list is Phong Nha in Vietnam. Other mentions include Hat Yai, Thailand; Padang, Indonesia; Bacolod, Philippines; Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia; Gimpo, South Korea; Narita, Japan; and Pingtung, Taiwan.
