US Vice President JD Vance and Second Lady Usha Vance are expecting their fourth child, a boy, in late July, they said.

“Usha and the baby are doing well, and we look forward to welcoming him,” the couple said, thanking military doctors and staff who support their family.

The White House congratulated them on X, calling the administration “the most pro-family in history.”

The couple, who met at Yale Law School, have three children: Ewan, 8, Vivek, 5, and Mirabel, 4. Usha, 40, is a litigator and former clerk to Chief Justice John Roberts and Judge Brett Kavanaugh.

Her parents emigrated from India in the late 1970s. Vance, 41, has long campaigned for higher birth rates in the US.
