Bengaluru Development Minister Krishna Byre Gowda said on Thursday that he would visit New Delhi next week to follow up on the pending approvals needed from the Centre on Namma Metro’s Pink Line elevated stretch from Kalena Agrahara to Tavarekere.
He was speaking after inspecting progress of the Blue Line construction, saying that the Metro services between KR Pura and the airport should be completed by mid-2027. He also pulled up officials for not completing work in time.
“Having cleared past legal bottlenecks, strict directives have been issued to prevent further delays,” he said.
